I was also told I have to wait 2 pay cycles (a month) to get my money. Chime holds your money and release it when they want to. Your direct deposit goes through a third party process before it's posted into your account. Chime also said they release your money as soon as it's deposited. Again what is customer service for if they can't answer simple questions. I then asked what stage in the process is my direct deposit? I was told by multiple Chime agents that they couldn't see the process only when it's posted. I then asked so where's my money and was told it's in processing. I was told by several Chime reps that they can't see my direct deposit until it's posted. I talked through Chime chat and spoken on the phone with several agents only to get the run around. This was a major headache and causing me so much Anxiety. I went through the app to speak with someone. On payday the money isn't in my chime account. My employer sent my payroll check to chime for direct deposit 3 days before payday. Talking to Chime customer support is like talking to a brick wall. Chime motto'Banking made easy' is false advertising. I only had one incident where I reported a fraudulent transactions and was told the distance from the restaurant to my home is in close proximity, Chime denied my claim. I have been a long time customer with Chime. Chime is the worst and their customer support is horrid.
